Spanish Car Rentals

Driving a Car in Spain

Renting a car in Spain can be more economical and easier than in many other parts of Europe. The roads are mostly good and the Spanish people welcome tourists.

Tour Clare has some of the best prices for car rentals in Spain and our rental companies we represent are in airports and towns throughout the country. You can use the booking engine to the right to find a rental car in Spain.

Once you select your location and type of car, your booking confirmation will emailed to you with a voucher to give to the car hire agency when you collect your car.

This voucher is generated by CarTrawler, one of the oldest and most respected car hire companies in Europe.

Make sure you print out your voucher to take with you. We recommend making two copies of this voucher.

The extra copy will be invaluable when you return your car in case there are any questions regarding the car rental.

When renting a car in Spain, you can expect a late-model car in good condition. Still, it is a good idea to make a note of any defects, scratches or dents in the body of the vehicle and the condition of the interior before taking possession. This assessment should agree with the paperwork you are given.

Travel Information

Here's an odd (but probably good) law. If you wear spectacles (glasses) you must carry a spare pair in your car at all times.

Also, make sure you do not overstay your visit to Spain if you are not from an EU country. Those who do are in danger of spending some time in jail before being deported.
