Sixmilebridge is off the beaten tourist path. We suggest
staying here for the first night in from, or the last night out of
Shannon.
We recommend the Moonlight House, just outside the
village.
In the village a lovely stream runs under a bridge. In the
water there, is a beautiful statue dedicated to the workers in Ireland.

house and stables on the Mount Cashel estate which was built initially
in 1850. There are two lodges and a carriage house.
The lodges are
self-catering and have been inspected and awarded a 4 Star rating by Failte Ireland. The accommodation is approached via a private
