Sete
(Languedoc-Roussillon)
Pop: 45,000
An important commercial and fishing port, Sete lies at the
foot of Mont St-Clair and is crossed by an elaborate canal
system with 14 bridges.
Despite the intense maritime activity, Sete's port is
relatively small and defines the heart of the city.
Views from the numerous quays and bridges provide the
feeling that all of the Mediterranean is below you.
