The Seisiún na h-Éireann Music Festival in Quin, County Clare

The Seisiún na h-Éireann
Music Festival commences Friday September 29th @
7.30pm with simultaneous sessions kicking off in the Village pubs.
The 1st round heats go on until 10pm and then it's
open session time with bar exemptions and rocking trad music 'till late.
1st round heats continue again at 2pm Sat. afternoon.
At 12 noon Saturday an Exhibition of Art by local
contributors will open in the Village Hall - Free Admission.
At 5.00pm simultaneously in the pubs the semi-final
qualifiers will be announced and also the winners of the Schools Art
Competition will be announced in the hall.
Semi Finals commence Saturday at 7.30pm 'til 10pm with
open sessions and bar exemptions till late again. Finalists will be
announced at 10.30pm in the pubs.
Session Finals commence at 2pm Sunday. At 5pm in Quin
Hall, the 4 finalists play each for 10mins before announcing the winners
and runners up.
We are very proud to welcome back many of last
year's runners up from Galway, Cork, Ennis, Doolin, Quin and Cratloe and
also delighted to welcome new entries from Bal (Mayo), Rahan and Tullamore (Offaly),
Graignamanagh (Kilkenny), Mucklagh (Offaly), Gent (Belgium), Adare
(Limerick), Newmarket-on-Fergus, Mullagh, Doolin, Feakle & Ballyvaughan in
Co. Clare.
