Milwaukee Irish Fest Draws Global Entertainment and Cultural Exhibits Take a day-trip to Ireland by visiting Milwaukee Irish Fest, the world’s largest celebration of Irish music, culture and heritage, August 17-20, 2007. Milwaukee Irish Fest features over 100 entertainers and draws over 130,000 people annually, at the four-day, 16-stage event. The festival features everything from Irish culture, history and music, to sports, arts and crafts, and shopping. This year Irish Fest will showcase top entertainers from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, New York Times bestselling author, Malachy McCourt, and More Than 40 Shades of Green: The Diverse Landscape of Ireland to add to the festival’s Celtic delight. Milwaukee Irish Fest is an event not to miss, but if you can’t book your day-trip this summer, Milwaukee Irish Fest and Norwegian Cruise Lines have paired up for to take the best this festival has to offer to the Caribbean. Celtic Cruisin’ with Milwaukee Irish Fest sets sail February 18-25, 2007, and boasts exotic ports of call in Mexico, Belize and Guatemala.
