Liscannor, County Clare
Liscannor is the village north of Lahinch and south of Doolin. It is on the way to the Cliffs of Moher. In fact, there's a grand cruise you can take to see the Cliffs from the sea. They are called Cliffs of Moher Cruises. You can also board the ship in Doolin.
Location: Situated in the picturesque fishing village of Liscannor, overlooking the bay on the rugged West Clare Coast, the newly refurbished Logue's Liscannor Hotel offers superb accommodation and quality food in an idyllic location. This beautiful Hotel is located within easy distance of Shannon Airport, Galway, Ennis and Limerick, which makes it an ideal touring and recreational base.
The Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, the Burren and Lisdoonvarna are all within a few
minutes driving and the world famous Lahinch Golf Links can even be seen from
the hotel. Once a charming 19th century farm cottage, Ballyvara House has been transformed into a stylish new Guesthouse. John Flanagan, a carpenter and builder by trade, used his skills and creativity to transform the cottage into the first-rate accommodation it is today.
