Ballymena Golf Club is situated about two miles north
east of Ballymena on the fringes of the "Britain in Bloom"
award-wining village of Broughshane.
It's a well drained (the driest inland course in
Ireland) heathland / parkland layout. As a result it's playable all
year round.
The course is relatively short at 5300 metres, due to
six searching par 3's and a challenging well-bunkered back nine,
scoring is not as simple as it's length makes it appear.
Balmoral Golf Club.
Established in 1914, the course at Balmoral offers a stern test to
golfers of all playing standards over its 6,276 yards of mature
parkland, situated less than three miles from Belfast city centre.
Whilst only a Par 69 the Standard Scratch of 70
gives testament to the challenge the course offers.
Belvoir
Park Golf Club. The first President of the Club was the Lord
Deramore whose family had for generations owned the land that was to
become the golf course.
The Club purchased 163 acres of the Deramore estate
on a 10,000 year lease.
By permission of Lord Deramore, the Club was
permitted to use his family coat-of-arms. The course was opened by
Lord Deramore in June 1929 with Sir William Turner hitting the first
shot.
Cairndhu
Golf Club has a reputation as a warm, welcoming and friendly place
with an excellent bar, function room and Professional's shop along
with the best catering in East Antrim.
Our course is demanding yet fair and boasts arguably
the best views in Ireland; from the rugged Glens of Antrim across to
the Mull of Kintyre, the Paps of Jura, Southern Scotland and the Ailsa
Craig.
Dunmurry
Golf Club is situated in Co Antrim just 10 minutes drive from both
Belfast City Centre to the North and the town of Lisburn to the South.
The course is easily accessible to visitors, located
only 5 minutes from the M1 motorway.
The 18 hole (par 70) parkland course lies adjacent
to the River Lagan and offers an enjoyable yet challenging test of
golf for players of all standards.
At Dunmurry the golfer will enjoy some of the best
playing conditions in Ulster.
Fortwilliam
Golf Club is located off the Antrim Road at Downview Avenue in the
suburbs of North Belfast.
It is situated in an area of natural beauty
with the Cavehill to the north-west and Belfast Lough to the east.
Although not a long course, it provides a good test of golf as most
holes have narrow tree-lined fairways and small difficult-to-read
greens.
Larne Golf
Club has a magnificent setting on the Peninsula of Islandmagee
with glorious panoramic views of the Antrim Coast and, across the
Irish Sea to the West Coast of Scotland.
Its nine holes offer a fine challenge for golfers of
all standards and a warm welcome awaits in the clubhouse when the
round is finished
The
Royal Portrush Golf Club was founded in 1888 and became the Royal
Country Club when the Duke of York became its patron.
Carlow Golf Club is one of
the finest inland courses in Ireland, and is an excellent challenge
for golfers of all standards.
They have hosted such prestigious tournaments as the
2002 Irish Close Championship and the 2005 World One-Arm Championship,
as well as being the home of Ireland's oldest scratch cup, the Midland
Scratch Cup.
The
Doonbeg
Golf Club is located at a new Greg Norman course along the
coastline of County Clare.
Dromoland: Tee times are limited
to members only on weekend and holiday morning until 10.00 a.m. Tee
times for groups may be made directly with the Golf and Country Club.
East
Clare: Rural golf course and a favorite with the locals.
Ennis Golf
Club plays on an immaculately manicured 18 hole Par 71 parkland
course.
Its tree lined fairways and tight greens present a
considerable challenge, while its relatively even terrain of 5600m
make it an ideal course for the holiday and society golfer.
Kilkee Golf Club is a Cliff
Top Links course established since 1896 the course has panoramic views
of the Atlantic.
Open all year round with full Bar and Restaurant
facilities. Competitions available daily throughout July and August.
Kilrush This one is a bit of
a root. Short choppy holes but Irish golf and fun nonetheless.
Lahinch The old course is the famous championship golf course.
The origins of Lahinch Golf
Club go back to the closing decade of the nineteenth century.
In 1892 officers of the famous
Black Watch Regiment stationed in Limerick came upon a vast wilderness
of dune land two miles from the spectacular Cliffs of Moher.
Being good Scotsmen, they knew
at once that they had found the perfect terrain for a golf links. When
this came to the attention of Alexander W. Shaw and Richard J.
Plummer, prominent officials of the Limerick Golf Club, they at once
went out and made enquiries.
The result was a second
journey on April 9th when an eighteen-hole course was marked out.
They were helped in the laying
out of the course by officers of the Black Watch Regiment. Lahinch
Golf Club was duly founded on Good Friday, 15th April 1892, and the
first game of golf played there.
Shannon Golf Club The course
has, over the forty years, matured into one of the best inland courses
in Munster and Ireland.
It is a parkland course of 6763 yards with fairways
of natural meadow grass planted on either side with spruce, evergreens
and a wide variety of deciduous trees.

Bandon Golf
Club has a testing parkland course in beautiful sylvan setting
with natural hazards abounding.
Set
on the undulating slopes of the Bandon Valley the course meanders
around the ruins of the stately old Castlebernard with many of the
holes being protected by water and bunkers.
The
course was founded initially in 1909 and was the first west cork club
to be extended to 18 holes in the 1970's.
Bantry Bay Golf
Club's 18 Hole, Championship Course, open all year, towers above
the head of Bantry Bay, in the Far West of County Cork.
Fourteen holes immediately overlook the
shore where the warm Gulf Stream first touch land on this side of the
Atlantic, Fuchsias abound, and there are splendid panoramic views
across the sea and islands to the Beara Mountains, Sheep's Head and
the Mizen Peninsula.
East Cork Golf
Club was founded in 1968 when Eamon and Peg Moloney converted
their dairy farm into a nine hole golf course.
The Course is situated on the outskirts of Midleton,
bordered by two rivers, making it an ideal parkland location for a
golf course.
Eddie Hackett, one of Irelands foremost Golf Course
Architects designed the course and local development contractor, Ned
Moran carried out the work.
The Course was officially opened on the 10th
of November 1969 by the late Mr. Brian Lenihan, T.D.
Fermoy Golf
Club, established in 1892, is a wooded course representing a
challenging test for both the expert and the novice golfer.
The newly refurbished clubhouse and restaurant
overlook the rolling course and countryside.
Fota Island Golf Club is located a few minutes drive from Cork
City with its international airport and passenger ferry terminal.
It lies in the heart of a 780 acre estate which is
included in, "The Inventory of Outstanding Landscapes in Ireland."
The splendid woodlands are woven into a challenging,
par 71, championship course which is very much in the traditional
mode, featuring pot bunkers and undulating putting surfaces.
Kanturk Golf Club's
course is set in a scenic area with splendid views of Mount Hilary and
the surrounding countryside, and is a challenging 5721 metre Par 72
layout which demands accuracy from the tee and good iron play as the
greens are small and not easy to hit in regulation.
Mallow Golf
Club has a parkland course with exceptional views of the Mushera
and the distant Galtee mountains.
Set in the heart of the Blackwater Valley, Mallow's
undulating treelined fairways transport the golfer from tee to green
and provide an enjoyable testing round of golf.
Old
Head Golf Links continues to take the golfing world by storm. The
brainchild of John and Patrick O'Connor, the Club has developed into
one of the most recognised and sought after golf experiences anywhere
on earth.
In keeping with the timeless traditions of Old Head,
our objectives are to develop as a Private International Members'
Club, which will be a haven for golfers around the world.
Castlerock
Golf Club The Championship Mussenden Course is a par 73 with five
par-5's, four par-3's, and nine par-4's. The best-known hole is the
fourth, called the Leg o ‘ Mutton, a 200 yard par-3 with a railway
line to the right, a burn to the left and a raised green.
City of
Derry Golf Club. The 18 hole course spans almost 6,000 metres,
variety being its main feature, with lush green fairways meandering
through mature woods providing a protective habitat for many wild
creatures.
With impressive views of the wide sweep of the River
Foyle with a back drop of distant hills this great course enjoys one
of the most picturesque settings anywhere in the world.
Donegal Golf

Golf Links. The Old Tom Morris Course has been attracting golfers
for over a century and now, with the addition of the magnificent Sandy
Hills Links, Rosapenna is set to become one of the top links

Royal County
Down is one of the oldest Golf Clubs in Ireland with traditions
dating back for more than one hundred years.

Dun
Laoghaire Golf Club is a beautiful, suburban 18-hole course,
founded in 1910, was done by the legendary Harry Colt in the early
part of the century, and whilst it does not have the length of many
courses (5,313 metres), careful club selection is required to score
well.
Edmondstown Golf Club is a Championship Course situated amongst
the most delightful surroundings on the foothills of the Dublin
Mountains in Ireland, and only 11km (7 miles) from Dublin's city
centre.
A testing parkland course, it lends itself to the
golfer who desires a socially enjoyable round of golf on a
well-maintained and manicured golf course.
Elm Park Golf
and Sports Club was founded in 1924 and provides members and
visitors alike with a range of facilities including an 18 Hole Golf
Course, 7 Grass Tennis Courts and 7 All-Weather Floodlit Courts,
Driving Range, 18 Hole Putting Green and Clubhouse facilities.
Howth Golf Club
is located on the beautiful scenic peninsula of Howth in north-east
County Dublin, Ireland.
The club features wonderful views over the city of
Dublin, south to Dun Laoghaire, Bray and Co. Wickow, north over Co.
Dublin and Co. Louth and the sea to the east.
On a clear day you can see as far as the Mountains
of Mourne in Co. Down.
Milltown
Golf Club, established in 1907, has one of the finest parkland
courses in Dublin.
Portmarnock Golf Club, a links golf course designed by Bernhard
Langer, is reported to be one of the best in Ireland.
Royal
Dublin Golf Club: Located on an island in Dublin Bay. Originally
designed by the renowned architect, Harry Colt, 2006 sees the
completion of the final phase of the magnificent programme of
improvement by the doyen of links development, Martin Hawtree.
In addition to a radical redesign of the 6th, 7th
and 8th holes, over three winters Mr Hawtree has adjusted the
architecture of every hole. His team has raised all of the greens,
adding beautiful contouring.
Woodbrook Golf Club is perched on top of one hundred foot
seacliffs. It is landscaped on all sides and steeped in history.
Woodbrook offers a new challenge to today's golfer.
Leading new-age architect Peter McEvoy has
handsomely redesigned Woodbrook's layout. The result being a course
that sits comfortably alongside other rich new creations
such as Mount Juliet, The K Club and Portmarnock Links.
Enniskillen Golf Club was established in 1896, a superb 18 hole
parkland course set beside Castlecoole Estate.
The course is
situated in the heart of Fermanagh's Lakeland and within easy walking
distance from the town centre, and commands outstanding views over the
town and surrounding countryside.
The Course is a
Par 71 and has well matured tree lined fairways and has elevated
tees on the seventh and ninth holes overlooking the surrounding area,
our first hole has been found to be intimidating especially for those
of us with a slight fade.
Galway
Bay Golf Resort is located on the Atlantic Ocean. This provides a
dramatic backdrop to this Par 72 PGA Championship 18-hole golf course.
Galway Golf Club
has long been recognised as possessing one of the finest courses in
the country.
Indeed, in the year 2002, it once again played host
to the Bulmers sponsored All-Ireland Cups and Shields Finals.
This excellent parkland course is centrally located
in Salthill, just three miles from Galway City Centre.
It has a magnificent new clubhouse (with full
catering facilities) which boasts panoramic views of Galway Bay and
the Burren from its elevated site.
The Club has a proud and distinguished history
dating back to its inception in 1895. During this period, the club has
collected many honours and it's members have represented the Club at
the highest levels.
Oughterard
Golf Club was established in 1974. This charming and challenging
course is set in tranquil parkland at Oughterard, Co. Galway, just 15
miles from Galway City on the N59 - the gateway to Connemara.
Tuam Golf Club
is one of the premier parkland courses in the West of Ireland. The
club was founded in 1904
Ballybunion Golf Club. After
playing Ballybunion for the first time, a man would think that the
game of golf originated here.
It is a course that will test your patience.
It is not a course that favours one particular style of play over
another, but one that simply rewards good play and good shots.
Dingle Golf
Links. Each hole on this magnificient links
is carved from the natural landscape of one of the most unspoiled
parts of Europe, with hazards laid down long before the game of golf
was dreamt of, including a winding "burn" that twists and turns
through the entire course.
Dooks Golf Links is set out on one of the three
stretches of sand dunes at the head of Dingle bay. In the immediate
foreground are the sand dune peninsulas of Rossbeigh and Inch and just
a few miles away the whitewashed houses of Cromane fishing village
provide an eye catching distraction.
South eastwards are the famed McGillycuddy's Reeks, to the southwest are the lovely cooms and hills
of Glenbeigh and across the bay to the north are the Slieve Mish and
Dingle mountains. A truly magical location for a stunning golf course.
Kenmare Golf
Club was founded in 1903, and was extended to 18 holes in 1993.
Whilst the course can be very exacting for a good player, it is never
unfair to the weak.
Killarney
Golf & Fishing Club is one of the oldest, well established and
internationally recognised Clubs in Ireland. It has a membership of
over 1,700 members from all over the world and the Club's location is
one of the most enviable in the World.
The Ring of
Kerry Golf and Country Club is famed for its spectacular scenery,
its VIP playing guest list and the intoxicating hospitality of the
Kerry people. It has now established itself as the "must play" course
of any golfer visiting Ireland's south west.
Tralee Golf
Club opened in October 1984. It was the first European golf course
designed by Arnold Palmer.
When he first saw the area upon which his company
was to build Tralee golf links, he was ecstatic about the
possibilities.
"I have never come across a piece of land so ideally
suited for the building of a golf course" he said.
Ireland's K Club has two magnificent 18 hole championship golf
courses designed by Arnold Palmer. The
Palmer Course, and the
Smurfit Course are considered two of Ireland's finest championship

Knockanally Golf
Club's championship golf course was founded in 1985, and stands on
125 acres of parkland with many water hazards and stately, mature

Carrick on
Shannon Golf Club: It is an excellent 18-hole course with
delightful diversity of scenery.
The new nine holes were built on recently purchased
land that sweeps down to Drumharlow Lake and the Boyle River creating
some spectacular views of the lake and river.
Adare Golf
Club is an 18 hole championship golf course which opened in 1995
and is set on the 840 acre estate of Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort.
This was the last major golf course
designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Senior. This majestic
design has gained international acclaim as one of his finest
creations.

Tullamore
Golf Club:

Tramore
Golf Club was founded over 110 years ago in 1894 on a piece of a
land adjoining Tramore's old race course in the Back Strand.
Originally opened as a 9 hole links, the course was battered by
raging storms, with the sea bursting through the dam between the
course and Back Strand on many occasions, including the great storm of
1911, leaving the links unplayable for months on end.
Very little has changed about Tramore
Golf Course since it was originally constructed, with it maturing into
one of the greats after less than half a century, and in 1987 it was
awarded the first of its 3 Irish Close Championships, won that year by
our very own Eddie Power.
At just under 6,700 yards off the tips,
Tramore is a fair test for golfers of all abilities - but don't be
fooled by its undeniable beauty, all it takes is one stray shot to
ruin a potentially respectable scorecard and leave you thinking...
Waterford
Golf Club was founded in 1912 Waterford Golf Club and is situated
on a hill overlooking the historic city of Waterford in the sunny
south east of Ireland.
At
Coollattin Golf Club you are surrounded by scenic views of the
Wicklow countryside.
