Located in the exact middle of Belgium is the multi-national, polyglot city
of Genk. It is said there are 85 different nationalities in the town. It's
not surprising, Genk is known for an abundance of fine restaurants.
Since 1964, the Ford Motor Company has had a plant in Genk and, they still
produce the Ford Galaxy, the Ford Mondeo and the Ford S-Max there. As an
industrial centre, Genk is the unlikely home to a world-class jazz festival
and a well-respected Carnival. |
