shore of Lough Allen, the first of Shannon's
great lakes.
There are ten other lakes close to town.
Drumshanbo has an amenity centre with outdoor heated
swimming pool, tennis courts and children's play area. Bait and boats
are also available. This makes Drumshanbo particularly suitable for an
angling holiday destination.
