This is an excellent base to touring the South East or for those interested in
hill walking, it's only a short drive to the slopes of Slievenamon.
Fishing on the nearby Suir, Nore and Kings rivers and the newly opened
Castlecomer Lakes stocked with Rainbow Trout are available for fishing
throughout the year.
South Tipperary too has alot to offer sightseers, Ormonde Castle, Carrick-on-Suir;
Swiss Cottage, Cahir; and the famous Rock of Cashel are but a few must see
attractions.
