| As with all the other central counties in
Ireland, County Tyrone offers excellent fishing and hill walking. The
An Creagn Visitor
Centre in Creggan is a good place to begin your exploration of Tyrone
with its circular bog trail and storybook children's trail. There is also a Coach And Carriage Museum in Blessingbourne and a
bog museum in
Coalisland.
For those from across the Pond, Omagh has an
American Folk Park museum.
Tyrone also has two of the oldest golf courses in Ireland,
Dungannon
built in 1890 and
Killymoon,
established in 1889.
County Tyrone likes to hang on to its past a bit. The last remaining
water-powered linen mill in Ireland can be found in Corkhill.
