Driving a Car in the Netherlands
As in a number of other European countries, the Netherlands will not allow
you to drive with an alcohol blood level of .05 mg/ml.
Speeding and other traffic offences are subject to high, on-the-spot fines.
In some cases your vehicle can even be confiscated.

of a vehicle to wear their seat belts.
A valid national driver�s licence held for at least one year is required to
rent a car in the Netherlands.
Non-Roman script licences require an International Drivers Permit from their
current residence in combination with local licence.
Maximum age for drivers in the Netherlands is 75 years.
