Car Rentals in Venezuela
Travel Advisories and Warnings for Venezuela
Petro is extremely inexpensive in Venezuela but driving at
night is cautioned.
Going from one town to the other can be very
dangerous. There are gangs throughout the rural areas of the country and
kidnapping is common.
Although Colombians are blamed for many of the kidnappings,
the local thugs do traffic in drugs and other criminal activities.
Violent crime, even in the cities is running rampant. Even some
citizens of Aruba, only a few miles off shore, express reluctance to go to
Colombia. Be very careful.
